How to import from Figma

How do I import a Figma design into ExodeUI?

Install the Export to ExodeUI plugin from Figma Community, select a frame, and copy it for Exode. Paste with ⌘V or Ctrl+V on an Exode canvas or on this page. You can also export a .exode file from the plugin.

Can I animate a Figma design?

Yes. Once the frame is in ExodeUI, add keyframes, state machines and physics to its layers in the editor.

Does Figma auto layout come across?

Yes. Auto layout frames arrive as editable layout, so they keep their structure after import.

Can I use an imported Figma design in React?

Yes. Play the .exode file with the exodeui npm package. There are also runtime packages for Vue, Svelte, Angular, Solid, React Native, SwiftUI and Flutter.

Is the Figma plugin free?

Yes. The plugin is free, and ExodeUI has a free Community plan for opening and editing the result.

Do my layers stay editable?

Yes. Vector paths, auto layout and text arrive as native layers, not a flat image, so you can edit them and animate them.

Does this page upload my design?

No. The conversion runs in your browser and your design stays on your device. Only a usage count is recorded.

Is this plugin made by Figma?

No. We make ExodeUI and its plugin. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Figma.
