About the Y2K Chrome

The Y2K Chrome is a chrome type with a y2K look, made for music and youth brands. It animates metallic type with a moving highlight, drifting orbs and twinkling sparkles, and a tap retints the chrome. It also has keyframes you can edit in the ExodeUI timeline: an entrance and an ambient float.

Add the Y2K Chrome to React or Next.js

1. Open an element above and set its text, colours and motion, or keep the defaults.
2. Download the .bexode file (or the customized .exode) and put it in your public folder.
3. Install the runtime with npm i exodeui.
4. Render it with ExodeUICanvas and pass your text, numbers and colours as inputs.

Yes. The file has a keyframed entrance and an ambient float on the timeline, which you can edit in the ExodeUI Animate tab. Its own motion and interaction stay live and follow the speed input.
