Animated cold and steamy weather widget for React and Next.js, volcanic slate style. Every colour, text and motion setting is a runtime input.

About the Reykjavík Geyser weather card

The Reykjavík Geyser card shows cold and steamy in Reykjavík, Iceland with a volcanic slate look. It animates rising steam and a glowing volcano, and a tap makes the geyser erupt. Like every ExodeUI weather card, it rises in on load, floats gently, tilts toward the cursor and counts to a new temperature when your data changes.

Runtime inputs for the Reykjavík Geyser card

These 30 inputs, plus the replay and tap triggers, can be set from the customizer above, from the ExodeUI studio, or from your code while the card is running.

Add the Reykjavík Geyser card to React or Next.js

  1. Open a card above and set its text, colours and motion, or keep the defaults.
  2. Download the .bexode file (or the customized .exode) and put it in your public folder.
  3. Install the runtime with npm i exodeui.
  4. Render it with ExodeUICanvas and pass your weather data as inputs.
import { ExodeUICanvas } from 'exodeui';

export function ReykjavKGeyserWeatherCard({ weather }) {
  return (
    <ExodeUICanvas
      src="/weather-cards/files/17-reykjavik-geyser.bexode"
      autoPlay
      style={{ width: 360, height: 420 }}
      inputs={{ city: weather.city, tempC: weather.tempC, condition: weather.summary }}
    />
  );
}

Frequently asked questions

Is the Reykjavík Geyser weather card free?
Yes. You can preview it, customize it and download the .exode and .bexode files without paying. ExodeUI also has a free Community plan if you want to edit it in the studio.
How do I show live weather data on the Reykjavík Geyser card?
Pass your data as inputs. In React, set inputs={{ city, tempC, condition }} on ExodeUICanvas, and update them when your weather API returns new values. The temperature counts to the new number and text changes play a short sheen.
Can I change the colours of the Reykjavík Geyser card?
Yes. All 11 colours are runtime inputs, along with the page background. Pick them in the customizer above, or set them from code with the same input names. Colour changes cross-fade instead of jumping.
What happens when someone taps the card?
The card makes the geyser erupt. You can also fire the same action from code with the tap input, and replay the entrance with the replay input.
Does it work outside React?
The same file works with the other ExodeUI runtimes, including Vue, Svelte, Angular, Solid, React Native, SwiftUI and Flutter.
