Spline is a browser-based 3D design tool popular for interactive hero sections and product visuals. Its free plan is generous enough to learn and prototype.
What the free plan includes
According to Spline's pricing page, the free plan costs $0, has no AI credits, and web exports include a watermark. Every plan includes unlimited viewers.
Paid plans
Prices listed in November 2026, billed annually: $12 per seat per month removes the watermark from web exports and raises image export resolution. $25 per seat per month adds video export, Apple and Android exports and watermark-free web embeds. $60 per seat per month adds code and self-hosted exports. Monthly billing costs more. Check the pricing page for current details.
Is Spline open source?
No. Spline is a commercial product. Its runtime packages let you embed scenes, but the editor is closed source.
When to choose something else
Spline is strong for 3D scenes. For 2D product UI that needs states, layout and inputs from code, Rive or ExodeUI are closer fits. ExodeUI has a free Community plan and Professional at $5 per month billed yearly; we make ExodeUI.
